Arrgh… Our company network has been infected by these Conficker.Z.41 Work which also known as SASSER or KIDO. It takes around 85% of our network bandwidth. It congested all our Internet resources except our VSAT. The problem arise more than 2 weeks ago when some guy bring his infected notebook and connected to our infrastructure without informing us (the technical support team) about it.

For your information, I work in a Oil & Gas company located here in Kemaman, Terengganu. Our company network consist of about 300+ PC and notebook connected to either wired or wireless LAN. We also used MESH Network wireless equipment to get connected to our vast network.

Right now we are in the midst of trying to control the damage and solved the infection of Conficker.Z.41 worm virus. We have use many tools and software to detect and repair the damage but until now no proven solution can’t get the virus out once and for all.
